Insert the Allen key into one of the screws on the frame. Tighten the screw by turning the Allen key clockwise. Locate the wood screws holding the metal brackets to the frame. Insert the screwdriver into a screw and tighten it by turning the screwdriver clockwise.
Replacing wood screws for repair trundle beds. Place the screwdriver into the screw. Turn the screw counterclockwise with a screwdriver until it can be turned by hand. Remove the screw. Insert a new wood screw into the hole. Tighten the screw with a screwdriver. Set the mattress on the bed. Replace the bedding.
